Solarisbank (Bitwala, Kontist, Penta, Tomorrow, formerly Finom) – Notes on Account Integration and Login (as of September 2025)

Solarisbank is a banking-as-a-service platform used by various fintech providers such as Bitwala (nuri), Kontist, Penta, Tomorrow, or formerly Finom as a banking partner. Account access and login processes may vary depending on the partner, but are based on Solarisbank interfaces.

Login notes for Solarisbank-based accounts:

  • Initial setup is done via the central Solarisbank portal: https://my.solarisbank.de/portal
    • Register with your email address and mobile phone number.
    • After registration, you can add all related IBANs/accounts (e.g., Bitwala, Kontist, Penta, Tomorrow) (“Link a new bank account to my.Solarisbank”).
    • For each bank connection/pocket (e.g., Bitwala, Penta, Kontist), you may need to link the account individually.
  • For access in third-party apps (such as fino), use the login credentials assigned during registration.
  • To integrate with third-party services, the account must be enabled once for the respective third-party provider (TPP).
  • Note: Finom is no longer a Solarisbank partner; integration is currently not possible.

Security features:

  • Solarisbank and its partners use two-factor authentication and secure identification procedures (e.g., VideoIdent).
  • Login is always via the official portals or apps of the respective partner bank or via the central Solarisbank portal.
  • If you have problems with account opening, lockouts, or identification, contact the support of the respective partner (e.g., support@solarisgroup.com or the respective provider’s support).

Note in case of problems with bank login via fino services:

  • Check your login credentials (email and password) for the Solarisbank portal or your respective banking partner.
  • Ensure that your two-factor authentication is active and functioning.
  • Check whether third-party provider (TPP) access is enabled and valid for your account.
  • If the problem persists, have your login credentials, authentication, and TPP access checked by Solarisbank support or your banking partner’s support.
